AGRIOLO – Agricultural Fair

The Riolo Terme Agriculture Fair is an unmissable event for everyone: experts in the sector, enthusiasts and families with children. MOSTRA SCAMBIO – Reuse market
1st of May
Every 1 st of May Borgo Rivola comes alive with the traditional Mostra Scambio: an event not to be missed for collectors, enthusiasts, lovers of vintage and motoring traditions. Here you can trade, sell and buy spare parts, historic cars and motorcycles. The day also includes a lively reuse market, where you can find vintage and second-hand items.
The event is enriched by convivial moments, cultural initiatives and the renowned Romagna specialties available at the food stand.
OPEN DAY TERME BIMBO

CELESTIAL BLUE NIGHT

Every year in June the Terme di Riolo dresses up in magic on the occasion of the Celestial Blue Night.
The event promises emotions under the starry sky offering every year a rich program of activities that combine the charm of nature, the pleasure of good food and the enchantment of music and dance.
A GÈS
July
An event for promoting the territory, the nature and tradition of the Vallata del Senio (Senio Valley) and the Vena Del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park.
The aim of the event is to discover the beauty of the area through various outdoor activities, from accompanied walking to mountain running, from bicycle rides with mountain bike guides to non-competitive gatherings… all corroborated by excellent traditional food and local products!
ROMAGNA SHALLOT PGI FAIR

This fair celebrates one of the finest products of the area: the Shallot of Romagna PGI.
During the fair, you can taste and buy high-quality shallots, as well as discover traditional and novel recipes.
The event also offers food stands and markets, transforming Riolo Terme into a lively centre of flavours and traditions.
FROGSTOCK

Frogstock is an eclectic and vibrant event organized by the Clips Rag and Rock Association of Riolo Terme which is held every year at the end of August within the river park.
The festival combines live music, gastronomy and culture in a unique atmosphere: local and international artists perform breathtaking concerts, while food stands offer culinary delights for all tastes.
ASSOCIANDO

Associando is the festival of associations and associationism in Riolo Terme, an event that celebrates the diversity and activity of the various local organizations.

GRAPE AND ECOMUSEUM FESTIVAL

Three days to explore Riolo Terme, savour its fine wines, discover its history and its fascinating traditions.
The Grape Festival has seen many transformations over the years, but it has always maintained a strong link with two fundamental elements of rural life: the wine and the grapes.
The festival involves the entire city by offering markets with the products of the land, food stands that celebrate the very essence of the event, shows, trekking and historical re-enactments.

FESTIVAL OF PUMPKIN AND BACARONA GRAPES
October
This traditional festival takes place in the hamlet of Borgo Rivola and is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the flavours of autumn and entertain all together, young and old, around the bonfire in the farmyard.
The food stand of the Pro Loco of Borgo Rivola offers renowned Romagna specialties and the fabulous trio of tortelli (chestnuts, pumpkin and potatoes), while roasted chestnuts and mulled wine are served in the farmyard.
SAMHAIN – Celtic New Year

Samhain, the Celtic New Year of Riolo Terme, is an event awarded by the National Union of Pro Loco of Italy as a “National Historical Quality Event“.
This ancient festival marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of the Celtic New Year, a period of transition to the dark season and the expectation of spring rebirth. The evening is immersed in the magical and fairy atmosphere dedicated to ancestors, with moments of introspection and celebration of ancestral traditions.
The streets of the town will host typical markets and food stands that will offer themed specialties, allowing you to explore local tastes and flavours.
There will be fireworks and dances that will illuminate and animate the entire evening, making Samhain in Riolo Terme an unforgettable experience of celebration, culture and tradition.
